"Kitsunetsuki" → Rename: "Croon"
Age: Thinking maybe more so mid 30s, rather than 40s. Just feels right to have him more showing age at what would better be considered young.
History: Basically scratch his previous story... There are stronger, more interesting ways I can come up with for him to come into possession of his three pages. Just gonna try to get his abilities and a bit more of his appearance formulated.
Appearance: Medium length, swept-back dark brown hair. Strands of sharp white hair pierce through, almost like weak  skunk trails. Face is well defined, but not something like a muscular "brick," or "hero's face." Slightly hunched posture, but stands tall, almost leaning backwards while stationary. Wears ( possibly ) some form of long garb; perhaps something with a number of coattails. Wears a small "berry" bell with unknown abilities as an earring ( left ear ). I want to say his general color scheme would be more pale and bland colors, such as cream and brown.
Abilities: Aside being physically powerful—as his means to compensate for lack of magical affinity, and a personal dislike of weapons—Croon is able to channel different wisps through his body, granting him "spiritual" aspects respective to the active wisp. These wisps occasionally materialize ( as a means to ensure their affect on the physical world and almost as if a form of breathing ), floating around Croon like a multicolored wreath for brief moments. While inhibiting, or functionally possessing Croon, the color of the corresponding wisp will overtake certain color schemes of his design, in addition to producing a thin aura ( more likely an outline ) around him. All of the aspects granted to him while possessed increase his abilities as a melee fighter, never really drawing him into the role of a far-ranged combatant. Maybe something along the lines of a wisp for speed, for strength, and then one for utility... or "overdrive;" the shadow.
The one major idea I've got at the moment, that I'm pretty damn sure I want to incorporate to his character, is that one of the wisps grant him a sort of "spiritual shadow." Similar to Shaman King or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, really, though less detailed in appearance, more like a monochrome husk of energy. Oh! Perhaps more like El Shadai, really... Aheh, well, I'm sure there are plenty more examples that could be dug up. But, yes, that sort of astral guardian that floats behind Croon, and acts as he does, almost like an armor. Of course, this seems more like an ability that should be contained, or maybe reserved for special conditions. Possibly the "fourth" of the three wisps... maybe the three wisps possessing Croon all at once... Something along those lines.

Name: Sol's {Pear}
Description: Sol's Pear is almost exactly as it sounds; a lantern style bell in the shape of a large, off-white pear. The upper section of the bell has small holes horizontally lining it, which constantly let out trickles of light. The larger base has one large gap carved into its face, but only projects light when the user holds it forward, and feeds it Dust ( be it their own, or that of the environment ).

Name: {Druid's Bell}
Description: The Druid's Bell can only be used in areas of excessive Dust. This bell causes its wearer to transform into their "inner-animal." As a mechanic, this bell would allow Theo and Cleo to solve puzzles or get through regions when Leo is unavailable; or as a way to solve puzzles where Leo might need assistance. And more...

Name: {Ghost... or something} Pepper
Description: A main-hand bell used by magicians; available for Cleo. The bell is shaped like, as its name suggests, a pepper—a ghost chili pepper, to be exact! When Dust is supplied to the bell, the user can cast out a number of different "fire powder" style spells. Simple wags/jabs of the bell release bursts of red heat clouds, charring those within range; waving the bell through the air allows one to disperse small bright red flakes, which drift slowly through the air, and make moderate explosions on contact; and slashing with the bell leaves a pale-red trail in the air, causing severe burns, similar to the sensation of being cut with a hot blade. ( Techniques in increasing order of Dust consumption. )

I think I really adore the idea of using fruits and vegetables ( perhaps food in general ), as the basis design and actual appearance for most of the bells.

As always, feel free to leave comments, I appreciate any feedback!
